Description
This crispy oven bacon is an easy recipe for perfectly cooked bacon every time. Cooking bacon in the oven is a low-mess, hands-off way to prepare delicious crispy strips. This recipe is the best way to cook bacon, and I usually bake a batch each weekend for meal prep.
Ingredients
- One pack bacon
- Parchment paper (highly recommended)
- Large pan / cookie sheet
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- While the oven is preheating, place parchment paper on a pan and arrange bacon in rows, making sure the bacon is not too crowded.
- Once the oven is heated, put the pan in the oven, and set a timer for 25 minutes.
- Between 22 and 25 minutes, check the bacon to see how crispy it is. Remove the bacon when it’s cooked to your desired level of crispiness.
Notes
- The bacon in the pictures was cooked for 25 minutes, but this time may vary depending on the thickness of the bacon and also your desired level of crispiness.
