Easy Air Fryer Carrot Fries

Ingredients

  • 4 large carrots
  • 1 tsp. olive oil
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel four large carrots.
  2. After cutting off the ends, cut the carrots into matchsticks that are about 1/2 inch thick. Try to cut the matchsticks as uniformly as possible.
  3. Place the carrots in a bowl, and add the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss the carrots with a spoon or your hands to make sure they are evenly coated.
  4. Pre-heat the air fryer to 400 degrees, and set the timer for 12 minutes.
  5. After the air fryer reaches the temperature, place the carrots in the air fryer basket and shake to distribute the carrots evenly.
  6. At 6 minutes (or when the air fryer indicates to ‘turn food’), remove the air fryer basket and shake the carrots so that they flip over and get rearranged.
  7. After the time is up, pair with your favorite protein and add additional salt and pepper to taste
