- 4 large carrots
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Instructions
- Wash and peel four large carrots.
- After cutting off the ends, cut the carrots into matchsticks that are about 1/2 inch thick. Try to cut the matchsticks as uniformly as possible.
- Place the carrots in a bowl, and add the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss the carrots with a spoon or your hands to make sure they are evenly coated.
- Pre-heat the air fryer to 400 degrees, and set the timer for 12 minutes.
- After the air fryer reaches the temperature, place the carrots in the air fryer basket and shake to distribute the carrots evenly.
- At 6 minutes (or when the air fryer indicates to ‘turn food’), remove the air fryer basket and shake the carrots so that they flip over and get rearranged.
- After the time is up, pair with your favorite protein and add additional salt and pepper to taste
