Easy Garlic Toast (using Hamburger Buns)

This easy garlic toast uses hamburger buns for a quick weeknight dinner side dish. It’s a perfect option for leftover hamburger buns, and it’s also easy to buy a fresh pack for easy and convenient homemade garlic bread. This hamburger bun garlic toast pairs well with spaghetti, lasagna, or other pastas. It’s also great to eat with your favorite barbecued protein.

Ingredients

  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Slice the hamburger buns in half.
  • Add the butter to a small bowl, and soften the butter so that it is easily spreadable.
  • Add the garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt to the butter. Mix well.
  • Spread a spoonful onto the top of each bun, coating evenly from edge to edge.
  • Arrange the buttered buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Cook the garlic buns for 10 minutes, until the buns are a golden brown.
